Owen Wilson is heading into the middle of a massive hip-hop festival in Rolling Loud: The Movie, a new comedy that mixes family trouble with backstage chaos.
The film’s newly released trailer introduces Wilson as a cautious father who brings his 13-year-old son to Rolling Loud in hopes of spending time together. During the festival, the two become separated, turning the trip into a frantic search through packed crowds, performance areas and behind-the-scenes spaces.
Travis Scott appears as himself and becomes part of the story as Wilson’s character tries to track down his son. The movie also features Matt Rife, Christine Ko and Christian Convery, along with appearances from Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God and Ty Dolla $ign.
Written and directed by Jeremy Garelick, the comedy was partly inspired by his own experience at a Rolling Loud event. Some scenes were filmed during an actual festival, adding real crowd energy to the production.
Rolling Loud: The Movie is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 2, 2026.
