Nelly Says He Was Targeted By The Police

Following the news of Nelly’s arrest for ecstasy possession, his lawyer addressed the arrest and said he was targeted by police.

On Tuesday night, Nelly won a sizable sum of money at a Missouri casino. When he attempted to cash in, a police officer told him they had to run a background check first.

He was found to have an outstanding warrant following a Maryland traffic encounter in 2018 for operating a vehicle without proof of insurance.

The lawyer claims that he was then put in cuffs in front of everybody in the casino, and the police did an illegal search of his vehicle, which resulted in the police finding ecstasy on him.

The lawyer added, “I am 100 percent confident this case will go nowhere. And we will be asking for an inquiry into this officer’s conduct.”
