I said momma close ya ears when I say sumn crazy.”

Elliott also tagged fellow rapper Queen Latifa saying, “@IAMQUEENLATIFAH, it’s nothing like having those you look up to say, ‘I am Proud of You.’ My heart is full.”

She continued “You named yourself starting with Queen & that’s how you have MOVED! Your speech about me are things I learned from watching you! Thank you! Love You.”

Greg Harris spoke on the nomination saying Elliott is “the full package,” adding “it would be fitting if she’s the first female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.”
